The Democratic Freedom Caucus (DFC) is a coalition within the Democratic Party dedicated to advancing policies that maximize individual freedom and the common good. With the rise of illiberalism across the globe and the threat of far-right authoritarianism coming from the MAGA movement, we are entering a new age of politics. For decades, the Republican Party has claimed that they stand for “freedom,” but their view of freedom is a mockery to the very concept. In truth, the Democratic Party is the party of freedom, and we must show that to the American people by articulating a bold vision for a freer and more just society. Join us in building a movement that will restore our republic, preserve our democracy, and allow for the United States to live up to its ideals by making good on the promise of “liberty and justice for all.” The future of freedom lies within the tent of the Democratic Party.
